Draping, also known as modeling, is a pattern-cutting method widely used by designers, especially in couture fashion. This technique allows patterns to be developed through a 3D approach by draping fabric directly onto a body form or dress stand to bring creative ideas to life.

This course begins with the fundamentals of draping and progressively moves to advanced techniques. Students learn to drape fabric on three-dimensional forms, practice using muslin, and create multiple design variations. By the end of the course, students are equipped with essential draping skills to confidently explore and refine their designs.
